Status on new bug report

Hi I would like to be able to give a status for a new report. It's not necessarily just "new" or "assigned". If the bug already has a history before being entered into mantis I want to continue at the current state, e.g. confirmed. The config file has g_bug_report_page_fields but described as: * The following fields can not be included: * id, project, date_submitted, last_updated, status, However there's code that checks for status in the array and also fills the combo box etc. in bug_report_page. Is the comment wrong? Is there something that wouldn't work? Is there another way to influence the status (except for the global g_bug_submit_status)? I'm using 1.2.15 if this was already changed.
