Using the command-line tool roundup-admin you can
- display the messages for a certain issue, e.g.
  roundup-admin -i . get messages issue1
- Set the messages
  roundup-admin -i . set issue1 messages=7,8,9,10

This asumes you're logged into the machine running roundup and you
current working directory is the instance directory, but you can specify
the instance directory using the -i option.

Of course you want to substitute the right issue number and the correct
message IDs in the sample commands above.

You can also do this using the xmlrpc interface to roundup but that
involves writing a simple script.
