Yes, currently there is no way to specify queries that can do this. We also can't do boolean conditions (except for the case that specifying constraints on several attributes are automatically ANDed and specifying severyl values for a single attribute are automatically ORed). There *was* a patch (that is in) to specify general queries that works together with javascript magic in the UI but I've never figured out how to use it and no test was contributed. This implements an inverse polish notation like query language where other negative values are used for specifying boolean conditions (similar to -1 as a special case for 'not specified'). Maybe Bernhard can give more details?
