db.dir has the directory of your tracker database directory.
Note that this is *typically* below your tracker home but you could have
reconfigured that in config.ini.

Otherwise: We insert the 'lib' directory (if existing) of your tracker
home into sys.path (it's in sys.path [1]) -- but only if a lib directory
exists in your tracker.

config has already been answered...
db.config has the config class.

and finally: db.config.HOME is the home-directory of the tracker.
