I'm not sure what's happening here, but it would appear that this TAL
call

  context/properties

is returning nothing. Some changes in a roundup release more recent
than the example may have made the example not work quite right.

Are you using the default classic tracker schema?

If you add:

   p = db.security.addPermission(name='Search', klass='issue')
   db.security.addPermissionToRole ('Provisional User', p)

and restart the server does that make a difference?

Another possibility is to add something like:

  p =  db.security.addPermission(name='View', klass='Issue',
     properties=('id', 'priority'), props_only=True)
  db.security.addPermissionToRole ('Provisional User', p)

and see if the user gets id and priority listed in the dropdowns.  If
this works, you can search for props_only in the upgrading.txt and
customizing.txt for more info about this.

If anybody else has a provisional user working with a post 1.4
roundup, can you help out here with ideas?
