Translations for jinja2 templates to prep for 2.x release

Hi all:

I am starting a release cycle for the next 2.x release in mid
July. This will be the 20th anniversary release.

This version will extract translatable strings from the responsive and
devel templates. These have not been included in the translation
extraction up till this point.

Is there something similar that has to be done for the jinja templates?
How are they internationalized?

I need a volunteer to write up a starter doc for the jinja
template. The use of jinja and the template are undocumented. It
should include some examples of how to make simple customizations.
This would be the start of a jinja version for the examples in
customizing.txt.

My long term plan is to create manual.txt and examples.txt from
customizing.txt. The template language independent stuff would go in
the manual and the example.txt would include jinja2 and TAL examples
as well as detectors etc.
