I created a breadcrumb feature (https://wiki.roundup-tracker.org/Breadcrumbs) and have added it to our IT tracker. I am looking for an opinion on the tracker breadcrumb feature as I add it to other trackers. The latest change is to allow a tracker to show breadcrumbs for multiple trackers. For example, if one went to the SYSTEMS tracker looked at a couple of issues, then went to the IT tracker and looked at a couple of issues there, the breadcrumbs for both trackers would be displayed at the same time. When in the IT tracker, the 'hover' text for the first 4 breadcrumbs would be: Title for IT issue 2 Title for IT issue 1 SYSTEMS: Title for SYSTEMS issue 2 SYSTEMS: Title for SYSTEMS issue 1 That is, the first two breadcrumbs are for the IT tracker (where we are now), and breadcrumbs 3 and 4 are for the SYSTEMS tracker. When already in a tracker, the 'hover' text shows the title. When a breadcrumb is for another tracker, it prepends the title with the tracker's name. This is useful if one jumps around looking at issues in multiple trackers. I was thinking that it may be less confusing to use another approach. The confusing part might be if one is in the IT tracker, jumping to the SYSTEMS tracker. Another approach is to group the breadcrumbs for a tracker together, only showing the breadcrumbs for that tracker. The SYSTEMS tracker would only show breadcrumbs for the SYSTEMS tracker, and the IT tracker would only show breadcrumbs for the IT tracker. Which approach would you prefer?
