Converting a tracker to a static site.

Hi all:

About a month ago, I privately had a discussion on the IRC server
about turning a Roundup tracker into a static site.

The person wanted to purge a bunch of 10+ year old issues as part of a
Roundup upgrade. However rather than deleting the old issues the
requirement was to archive them. S/He was thinking about making it
into a static site.

I just had a second query about the same thing. I'm hoping the person
who I irc'ed with a month ago is on this list. If you are let me know
if any of the ideas we came up with worked for you. Maybe we can work
out a path for migrating a live roundup instance to an archived static
instance.
