Each library file (including the SPICE parts readable-dump library files) 
has values of lambda for each technology.  These values are used to make 
sure the sizes are correct when a two different libraries are used.  Most 
people don't bother changing the value of lambda for the schematics 
technology, and the SPICE parts libraries don't make use of any layout 
technologies, so there is usually not a problem.  If the layout lambda 
values are changing when you read a SPICE parts library, try adjusting only 
those layout lambda values in that library.

Electric reports two "schematics" technologies: analog and 
digital.  Internally, however, there is only one such technology.  Also, 
neither is listed in the "Change Units" window because it is not considered 
to be a technology with a meaningful value of lambda.

Yes, it was listed in earlier versions, but is no longer listed for the 
above reason.
