This is a bug in version 8.02 that is fixed in 8.03.  The new release 
will probably be available in a few weeks.

I think this is the same bug, but I cannot be sure from your 
description.  If you can give me a precise description of what you 
are doing, I can try to reproduce the problem.

You can disable gridding for all design by using the "Alignment" 
section of the "Grid" preferences.
