There is a section on how to implement a form handler in the wiki: http://wiki.bitflux.org/PatForms#Form_handlers (It's called "Custom Form Handlers") To pass the patForms object to the form handler you'll have to modify inc/bx/patforms.php and just make the filter to pass the form as a member to the form handler class.
