Static pages, Blogs

Hi

I have a couple of questions, all somehow related.

1) Is it possible to "mix" static and dynamic content (e.g. blog news)?

I would like to make this for a front page (Welcome text + Latest news)...
or, for example, to have a short introduction about an author or blog topic
and then loading the latest news from that author / in that topic.

I guess I could load what I want direct from the database (like the
getLatestComments function in the Blog-Plugin), but I dont really know how
to display the data / show it "inside" a "static" page.

2) Where can I find a working examle of Fluxcms processing php code in a
document?

3) How can I load only a part (e.g. 10 words, 300 characters...etc) of a
blog entry? When you have a lot entries or very long texts, it doesnt make
sense to show the whole entries. It may be useful to have somekind of
delimiter (<!--break-->) to achieve a flexible solution.


I hope all the questions make sense. Any help is really appreciated!
