This (blogpost.xml) is for the blogposts editor available over
"Bookmarks" -> Blogposts. There you should be able to change the author.
That's the normal dbforms(1) interface

For the "normal" blog editor you have to change bx/editors/blog/post.xsl
(and maybe others stuff, didn't look deeply into it :) )
