there's inc/bx/plugins/events.php and an themes/3-cols/events.xsl  for
some kind of calendar application.  events.php has notes on top of it
with the sql and .config.xml lines. It's there since quite some time.

What's in there now will still be there in about 2 or 3 weeks :) We're
currently pretty busy and won't work on that in the very near future.
But you're very welcome to improve it, if you're missing something (and
jsut ask here, if you don't know, how to do something)
