If you say YES, I will teach the girls xml ;) If you say > NO, I (will) try to release the plugin. It doesn't have to be finished, it's just working and we needed it for a project and doing it with an XML file was the quickest way :) > I had some ideas about a "question"-table and a "answer"-table, so I can > uses dbforms2 for editing. Its easier for the client ;) The actual answers go already in a db, but you realized that. > If you say we have to use xml-files, I will use it! No we don't have to. A DB based approach is certainly easier to edit for the casual user than the xml files (although it's not that complicated :) ) We now have to solutions, we either make vote_db which is completely based or we extend vote.php (we = basically you for the moment ;) ) and allow to either use an xml file or a db. This could be defined via a .configxml parameter. > Offers FluxCMS or Poppon some classes to edit and expand xml-files with the > help of forms. I think about such cool stuff like the dbforms2-classes. not really. BXE 2 would maybe be ideal for that, but it's not ready yet. > IMHO, overwirte the old one is not so good. And make it configurable via .configxml, if a DB or an XML file should be used. chregu -- christian stocker | Bitflux GmbH | schoeneggstrasse 5 | ch-8004 zurich phone +41 44 240 56 70 | mobile +41 76 561 88 60 | fax +41 1 240 56 71 http://www.bitflux.ch | [email protected] | GPG 0x5CE1DECB -- bitflux-cms mailing list [email protected] http://lists.bitflux.ch/cgi-bin/listinfo/bitflux-cms
