It doesn't have to be finished, it's just working and we needed it for a
project and doing it with an XML file was the quickest way :)

The actual answers go already in a db, but you realized that.

No we don't have to. A DB based approach is certainly easier to edit for
the casual user than the xml files (although it's not that complicated :) )

We now have to solutions, we either make vote_db which is completely
based or we extend vote.php (we = basically you for the moment ;) ) and
allow to either use an xml file or a db. This could be defined via a
.configxml parameter.

not really. BXE 2 would maybe be ideal for that, but it's not ready yet.

yep, that's a nice idea.

It's your call, if you think a DB approach would be helpful, just add
it. And make it configurable via .configxml, if a DB or an XML file
should be used.
