I chose the easy way .... 1.5 ... works like a champ.  Thanks for assisting so quickly.

there was a bug, which i realised just today in the installer..

The fix is: delete the first "admin" user in fluxcms_users :)

But then again, if you didn't do anything until now with it, I recommend 
installing the 1.5 stable branch available from here

it should be quite stable as we plan to release 1.5 pretty soon
