php file as xml source

Hi,

Is it a way that I could use a php file (that outputs xml) as xml
source, instead of the classic xhtml file from the data directory?

I imagined something like this in the main sitemap would work...

<map:match type="uri"
matchtype="regex" pattern="#^test/(.*)#">

<map:generate type="php" src="test.php">

<map:include label="standardOutput"/>

</map:match>
