As far as I can remeber there is nothing be written into the db. The 
preview-plugin fetchs the creation-date of the image-files (normaly 
handled with your OS filesystem) and thats where the plugin gets the 
newst pictures. I don't know much about webdav. I'm really bussy at the 
moment and next week I will have holidays until 17.9. so I can't look 
into it.
