   I tried this, well actually it turned out that my version of  
imagemagick didn't have support for jpeg nor png combiled in by default.
Well, once that was fixed this experiment you suggested worked. But  
still the Flux CMS gallery acts the same...

The revision I presently use is 5211 of https://svn.bitflux.org/repos/ 
public/bxcmsdemo (the newest one, but the same thing happened with a  
slightly older too)
I changed branch for this installation from the stable one to this a  
while ago, hope it doesn't involve any complications.

BTW.  From one thing to another, i noticed that entering an URI which  
points a non-existant page within the gallery causes an error.
