Dear Jaako,

Automation is possible only if the source CMS and
target CMS understand each other or follow some
topography strictly. Unfortunately this is never the
case, which calls for human intervention.

If you plan to tidy up the content itself - that is do
a relevancy check on each content piece, and redefine
content structure - then it is a bit more complicated
as it calls for involvement from the business owner.

But If you plan to do nothing more than simply tidying
up and transfer content, then the work may be
relatively easier and cheaper when it is outsourced.

It is a very common means of income for many data
processing firms in India.
