Marc,
Typefi Publishing System (TPS) provides the functionality you describe below. When using the TPS your designers creates the layout in a Adobe InDesign template and the web CMS provides the dynamic content as a XML stream/document. Typefi Publishing System produces both PDF and InDesign documents. Once the template is created it can be used multiple times with different XML content to create different documents.
TPS can deal with sophistication and complexity from small documents such as multi-page marketing collateral to long publications such as trade fiction books and travel guides from publishers like Lonely Planet.
Please contact me if you require further details.

Subject: [CMS] web to print workflow
I may be looking for something that doesn't exist commercially, but am hoping that someone can point me in the right direction.
Does anyone know of a system that integrates web to print workflow from WITHIN a web based CMS? This would have to include some sort of Quark/InDesign layout into the web CMS template system and have the ability to produce high resolution PDF files for print.
Thanks in advance!
