FW: Microsoft Sharepoint Server 2007

Hi all,
 
It seems the release of the newly merged Microsoft CMS / Sharepoint Portal
Server product is almost upon us.
 
I'm interested to hear from anyone who has used or investigated it.  Has
Microsoft successfully unified the very different intranet and web worlds?
Or will this be now twice as cumbersome and costly to implement as the
previously seperate products?
 
Is this product going to take off or will it languish like Microsoft CMS has
for the last few years?
 
Does anyone have any pricing details yet?
