CMS out of the box?

My voluntary association has a website with an open and a members-only
section. It comprises news pages, a newsletter, regular columns, archive,
etc, all created in Word. Because the entire site is created and managed by
non-professionals, any CMS to run the site needs to be ridiculously simple
to use, requiring no technical knowledge to set up or to operate. Does
anyone have any ideas? It could be open-source or commercial, but must
require a minimal learning curve. 

Although I am familiar with choosing CMS systems for larger organisations,
I've never had a requirement for a system to be run without any technical
capability.

Any ideas welcome.
