We currently offer either Ektron's eWebEditPro or Ephox's EditLive! Java
editors.  Both seem to do a reasonable job of producing HTML and both
can "clean" pasted input from MS Word.  However, we also utilize a
secondary parsing engine (Neko) to get to XHTML.  Whenever possible we
utilize a very strict parsing configuration to rip out all the "crap"
that pasting from Word produces.  Provided the customer has fully bought
into a clean separation between content and presentation, this route
works very effectively.

Another very interesting method of getting Word into reasonable HTML is
to utilize the OpenOffice system (as a service) to import documents.
