Content Management isn't just software, it's a practice. The practice has to be well-defined to be of use, and naming is the first step toward defining. So, no "Content Management," no Content Management. (Hmmm... by that argument... still not that much CM going on out there... ;-) The Notes and Outlook stuff was typically fairly ad-hoc, wasn't it? Enterprises weren't really thinking about long term web operations. (people were, but enterprises weren't.)
