Dear CMS listers in the Boston area,

There will be a joint meeting of four usability-related groups next
Tuesday. The meeting is free.

I suggest we use this occasion to meet one another to organize regular
Boston meetings on Information Architecture and Content Management.

If you would RSVP to me, I will assemble a mailing list to develop a
meeting strategy. We could create a Boston joint calendar of meetings on
CM, IA, IxD, UX, as well as these independent groups.

The four groups are:

Boston-IA (Internet Accessibility and Information Architecture),
Boston UPA (Usability Professionals Association),
Greater Boston SIGCHI (Human Computer Interface),
New England Chapter of HFES (Human Factors and Ergonomics Society)

The joint meeting will be Tuesday, June 8, at Sun Microsystems campus in
Burlington, MA. Meeting starts at 6:30 p.m. for networking and
refreshments, with the talk starting at 7:00 p.m. Directions to Sun
Microsystems are provided below (a photo ID is required to get into Sun).

The talk will be a panel of experts from the User Centered Design
Department at Verizon Labs (formerly GTE Labs) .

(Thanks to P.J. Gardner of Boston-IA for these instructions)
