Thoughts on Baked Dynamic Mixed CMS

Hi all, I was wondering if there is any disadvantages to having a mixed web
content management solution that would output static html pages for pages
that don't need to call DB and make the pages that do, Dynamic. Like a
article list page would be dynamic, but the articles themselves would be
static?
Any thoughts?
