I recommend listing it at the Open Directory Project (dmoz.org). They 
are taking RSS feed listings now. The listings are distributed to 
several companies, including Google's directory. Go to dmoz, and 
navigate among the folders 'til you get to the one you think is most 
appropriate, then click on the Submit. It may not get listed exactly as 
submitted, because there are guidelines, including removing marketing 
talk, but it will improve the likelihood of people finding your feed, 
for one thing, directory entries have a description, whereas search 
results don't often return descriptive results.
