Hi (sigh...),

Of course there are many of us on this list who are willing (able?) to
help fix this site for our industry. I am amazed that the names
currently associated with this effort have not spoken up yet. My partner
Iva received a polite response email that basically said, "yes, we know
there are problems, but we were rushing to get it out." ... When does
this not happen? The whole point of what we do is to enable a
professional results, rushed or not. It might as well have been
handcoded. Do we eat our own dogfood? How can rushing be an excuse for
a professional not to produce something professional?

How does this raise the awareness of standards in content management if
there is a rather lame live site on the Internet right now that
supposedly represents the best of our industry? We would like to be part
of such an initiative, but it would be against our ideals and business
interests to support it in its current state, especially given that
there was no request for feedback or help (or acknowledgement of the
help offered).

I realize I am not making many friends right now by being so forward,
but cmprofessionals.org currently portrays our industry as amateurish.

best,
