Hi Friends, United Nations Volunteers programme is looking for a web designer with experience in designing large websites, to redesign two of its websites. Many of you would have worked with such designers, even if you yourself are not into designing websites. Feel free to pass this on to your colleagues and friends who may be interested. S/he may be the designer we're looking for! Thanks. Kanti Kumar The United Nations Volunteers seeks an experienced and skilled web designer to design new interfaces for the unvolunteers.org and worldvolunteerweb.org websites. The designer should be very experienced in producing front-end interfaces for large websites. The Requirements The designer will be required to deliver several mockup pages in Photoshop (or similar) format for both worldvolunteerweb.org and unvolunteers.org - HTML will not be required, so long as the relevant fonts and images can be extracted from the Photoshop files. Each site will have a distinct look-and-feel and will have their own, fairly detailed design and navigation guidelines. The emphasis will be on usability, simplicity and a clean, functional design. Please submit the following to [email protected] by January 14, 2005 in an email entitled "UNV Design Project" * A brief summary of your web design experience and capabilities * A list of websites designed (and/or screenshots of intranets) * A few references, if available, from your customers * If possible, brief information on pricing structures would be appreciated, but is not mandatory at this point Successfully shortlisted designers or companies will be contacted after that date with further information on the project and invited to submit a proposal.
