I have heard arguments for both techniques, but since not convinced either way am going to try to provide the best of both worlds. I suppose at this stage I am more interested in the actual physical location of the files and functionality. The site is ASP.Net based - I am just trying to decide whether to go for a single installation on a single server under IIS or use one server for the public site and one for the admin tools.
