Yeah, you say that now...
Unless you're talking about taking arbitrary content from end users, I
would >always< have the editing site be a separate site, whether it
looks like the end-user site or not. I think it is a BAD idea to let
content editors just log into the public site and make changes. This
is just asking to be hacked. Also, the processes involved in writing
content are optimized differently than read-only access. If you have
any significant amount of traffic, you'll want to dedicate your
delivery servers to delivery, and tune them for that.
