RE: ASP dot Net CMS

One thing about .NET CMS products is that for developers, they tend to be
much more efficient to work with. One reason for this is that they tend to
have structured documentation that is similar in nature to the documentation
for the dot Net framework itself. 

Combine this with the .NET framework's "reflection" capabilities and
productivity features in Visual Studio such as Intellisense, and you tend to
get some pretty happy and productive developers. Tack on the end of that
list the fact that your dev team can choose their language (C#, VB, etc) and
it tends to mean you can leverage in-house skills one way or another.

I've also managed projects based on LAMP, ColdFusion, and Java/J2EE and I
find the .NET platform and tools to be much more productive. I'm sure it's a
matter of opinion and experience in the end, but that's the main reason our
team prefers the .NET platform.
