RE: Ektron's .NET/ActiveX Solution

John, you have a great many good points about what makes a good CMS but I
think that your enthusiasm for particular technologies has made you
close-minded not only to my own company's but also close-minded to Microsoft
technologies past and present.  I also think that in your consideration of
these issues you have not accounted for a great many of the
non-technological concerns that are major factors in content management.  My
customers like working with sophisticated and forward-looking,
standards-embracing technologies like Ektron's but they are running
businesses too and we in the CM industry must address that.

I will trust the judgement of the list in deciding which of us has better
insight into what makes a good .NET solution.  I would also like to thank
the list's forebearance in listening to this little vendor catfight... you
may now return to your regularly-scheduled discussion.  :^)
