RE: CMS for presentation

Of course Powerpoint does have an API, so if you're stuck with it, you still
have the option to create your presentations in a text format; in other
words, have your CMS emit a program that creates a Powerpoint presentation.

Thanks everyone for your suggestions.

The consensus seems to be to move away from PPTs and move towards PDFs.
I'd thought of that too and that is probably a good idea. However, there
are  limitations to what you can do with PDFs. As an example, one cannot
fire up an embedded Video or one cannot echieve the so called "build
effects" and things like that. I am not a big fan of shuch things but
one needs it many times.
