The data in the db looked fine, so the serialization is all good. I'm on the train on my mobile so I can't do much about it right now, but I'm wondering if it's the ESAPI methods in CF10 that are doing some weird escaping. Railo supports the same methods and it seems to be fine... I'll have to test it further tomorrow.
