I wonder if I might get you to try a little experiment for me... if your 
farcry project is running under the webroot of your website; for 
example, you reach it with www.mydomain.com and www.mydomain.com/farcry, 
try deleting the apps.cfm completely.

I'm hoping that this will mean your application will just work.

apps.cfm is really a little hack to enable you to run multiple farcry 
projects under a single web site.  This really shouldn't be necessary in 
  a correctly configured development environment.
