Couple of problems (navigation, translation, umlaut)

Hi everybody,

we've just installed farcry on Windows 2k, IIS, MS SQL Server 2000 and
CF MX 6.1.
After having a hard time installing farcry, we've finally been able to
do administration stuff. Now a couple of things are unclear for us and
I hope you are able to help, because I haven't found any solutions /
postings regarding our problems:

1.) As we are located in Germany, I have set the profile and LOCALE to
de_DE. Unfortunately, some of the navigation points aren't being
translated. Instead I see the application vars, e.g.
application.adminBundle[session.dmProfile.locale].CacheManagement OR
application.adminBundle[session.dmProfile.locale].COAPITools and so on.

In German tutorial videos I saw that the authors haven't had such
problems. In those videos everything was displayed translated
correctly. Sounds this familiar to anyone of you?

2.) I'm using the mollio template type C, which fits our needs
perfectly. We've created a lot of navigation points and HTML pages
beneath. All of them have been approved and unlocked. After pressing
"View" I can see the site as intended. But after loging out of the
administration, only HOME and Support are displayed in our project!
Why so? I can't find any documentation about such a behaviour?

3.) As I said, we are located in Germany and are running a German
Intranet. So we are depended on using letters with umlaut, e.g. Ä or
Ö or Ü. In farcry it seems like letters with umlaut are support while
they are not supported :)
Sounds strange, I know. Sometimes they seem to work and sometimes an Ä
is displayed like Ã?. The behaviour is like, everytime I make changes
in the title of a HTML page the letters with umlaut change as well and
get worse and worse after each update. Maybe it's because I have
changed the LOCALE var a couple of times?

Has anyone of you a solution for us? Any of the behaviours known?

Your help is welcome and will be appreciated.

Thank you for your time.
Alex
