Kai has already commented on this, essentially not all resource bundles have
been updated for recent versions of FarCry including the German resource
bundle.  Like Kai, if you'd like to spend the time updating any resource
bundles it would be greatly appreciated.

This is a cached setting in the administrator.  In FarCry go to "Admin /
Config Files / General" and change categoryCacheTimeSpan from the default of
"6" to "0" (or whatever time you'd like the cache to be set to). In the
FarCry 3.0.1 installer this setting is set to "6".  It has been changed back
to "0" in the 3.0.2 installer.

I could be wrong, but I think you have to tell your DB driver in the
ColdFusion administrator that you need to do some special unicode
interaction (Someone else feel free to chime in for clarification on that.
I haven't run into the issue yet myself, but I think I remember some chatter
about it in the dev forums a couple years ago).
