don't see any of the menu tabs after new install

I am new to Farcry, and have "successfully" installed the Farcry3.01. However, after i login using the default "farcry" account, i don't see any of the menu tabs, such as overview,site, admin, and etc. am i missing something here? i think the default "farcry" account is the sysAdmin. Do i need to do any config before the login? I have spent two days on this, but no luck.
