I am in agreeance with Jeff's thoughts.

In our case we have dozens of contributors who are very much
non-technical so the concept of an image library and reusability is
confusing for them. In any case most of the stuff that our regular
contributors post is non resuable. They are very used to editting
files / images from the dmHTML plp so this change is quite a disaster
for us in Farcry 3.

I advocate re-implmention of the feature in some way because:

- In our environment the regular contributors rarely upload anything
that is reusable. So forcing them to go the round trip to the image
library is a hassle for them.

- When are contributors add images/files in the dmHTML plp more oftern
than not they make their mistakes there and then and want to fix them
straight away, but it is not intuative as to how to edit them. There is
nothing obvious on the form which points you in the direction of the
media libraries. and even if there was a link to the media library you
would still have to search for the image/file which is another
unecassary step.

- When a user needs to edit an image or file on a web page they always
go to the dmHTML plp by default. If we are lucky they may remember the
image library, but then I will get a fone call because they won't be
able to find the image there for a varierty of reasons. Or in most
cases they will forget about the media library and just call me.

I think Jeff's idea of having a config toggle to turn the feature on
and off should keep both camps happy.

Regards,
Coach

Generally only our site moderators or designers use resuable content so
for them the image library is ok.
