FarCry installation on Linux hosted service

Has anyone managed to sucessfully install frarcy cms on a hosted site ?
I am
using hostmysite.com.

I know I am taking the easy way out but I have spent 3 days trying to
install it already. I have not used CF on Linux or Apache before and am
having problems getting things working.

The hosting package I have is ColdFusion 7, MySQL 5, Linux runing
apache
webserver.

The only acces I have is FTP and Control panel.

The hosting provider will not allow the cfmapping to the name 'farcry'
so I
followed the calling it 'farcry_uniquenumber' and renamed the according
to
in accordance with Rob Rusher's Blog
http://www.robrusher.com/1/2006/01/Hosted-FarCry-CMS.cfm. I also called
the
virtual directory the same name.

The hosting provider have also suggested that my farcry install
directory
should be in the htdocs directory so I have
/htdocs/farcry
/htdocs/farcry/farcry_core/
/htdocs/farcry/farcry_pliant/
/htdocs/farcry/fourq/

With a few changes to correct the database name i.e. converting it to
lowercase I finally got the install to run sucessfully creating
the directory
/htdocs/farcry/mysitename_cms/
/htdocs/farcry/mysitename_cms/config/
/htdocs/farcry/mysitename_cms/customadmin/
/htdocs/farcry/mysitename_cms/includedObj/
/htdocs/farcry/mysitename_cms/packages/
/htdocs/farcry/mysitename_cms/system/
/htdocs/farcry/mysitename_cms/webskin/
/htdocs/farcry/mysitename_cms/www/

Based on the information I have given does anyone have any further
details
to the install instructions to get things going.
I think the problem may be due to the virtual directories I have
set-up. Can
anyone give me some idea what they should be ?
Also what should I put in for Application Mapping on the Farcry Install
settings ?

If anyone can help, I will give it one more go.
