Jeff,
I think it would be good netiquette to keep the responses on the list - to
have the discussion in one place - i.e. on this list so that "the
information is helpful to others seeking the same information". Even if that
means you can't plug your one blog... :)

Besides - I don't think Cenk was after a feature-by-feature comparison...

Cenk,
If what takes you weeks to do is accomplished in hours using drupal - do you
think it is the tools that differs or some other factor? Personally I think
the different systems are reasonably capable, so that your own
in-experience(?) with FarCry is pitted against your colleagues experience
(mastering?) of drupal. I think the main decision that your team and your
boss will have to decide on is what technology best captures you current and
future capital investement - primarily human and intellectual capital. If
you are a shop committed to CFML, maybe you should be sent on a FarCry
course, or you should farm out some of the site configuration to someone
skilled in the system.

For me, the main reason for me to play with FarCry is because I have years
of investement in my human capital in CFML skills (and management of CFMX/BD
server) and intellectual capital in the form of customtags, udfs and
snippets and "neighboring applications" (that could be integrated with
FarCry in the future). And that is Open Source (allowing me to
modify-tweak-adapt-contribute-integrate).

/Hugo
