In my apache httpd.conf, I created the following aliases:

Alias /farcry /web/farcry/core/admin
 <Directory "/web/farcry/core/admin">
         Options none
         AllowOverride AuthConfig
         Allow from all
         Order allow,deny
 </Directory>

Alias /test /web/farcry/projects/test/www
 <Directory "/web/farcry/projects/test/www">
         Options none
         AllowOverride AuthConfig
         Allow from all
         Order allow,deny
 </Directory>

But, then I browse to http://servername/test, it partly works.
then I get an error complaining about the path to core/admin needs to be
pointing to /web/farcry/core/admin.

So, I am not sure where I am getting all balled up, but I'm stuck.

BTW, thanks for the reply
