I have a similar issue.
I can log in using IE but not using FireFox.
I set up the Fortress [build:3041] on a shared server.
I submitted a ticket to see if J2EE variables are turned on.
It is not.
The Hosting Company [HostMySite.com] is a really great group but they are
concerned about activating J2EE in a shared environment and how it might
impact performance on the server.

Why can I get in with IE but not FF?
What options do I have?
I am concerned about my clients customers having issues when I set
authentication requirements for parts of the public facing site.
