RE: coders in metro detroit

Hi Brad,

Just curious, but with over 250 products already in the market, why do you
want to build another one? 

I would encourage you to spend a bit more time considering leveraging basic
CMS foundational work that has already been created and made available.
There are a number of open-source and/or free ones in a variety of languages
(Java, ColdFusion, PHP, etc.). If you're an MS kind of guy, then just buy MS
CMS for about $6k and start there (mind the next step to $42k/cpu though). 

It sounds like you are price sensitive. If that's the case, I'd recommend
spending your money on features that will really add value for the specific
user community. Basic Web CMS functionality is rapidly being commoditized.
