Yet another book recommendation question...

We're going to be slowly building our own set of tools to piece together a
CMS of our own. We're going to be using the .NET platform. Does anyone have
any good book recommendations? I found this specific book:

Which we'll probably grab, but it seems to be a bit too specific. I think
I'm actually looking for more broader concepts such as how to design your
own CMS to best fit your own needs (independant of technology platform) yet
remain scalable and what benefits, overall, .NET can bring to the table. The
book above appears to use .NET more for the sake of using .NET and isn't
necessarily a high-level/big-picture overview.

We're going to be mainly focusing on data/content storage, entry,
categorizing, and meta taging and then developing our own template engine to
publish it to various web sites. (As opposed to dealing too much early on
with workflow, or having a robust user-management system).
