Thanks.  The OSCOM videos (http://media.skybuilders.com) are quite 
instructive.

The companies and OS developer communities are slow because I have not 
been very aggressive going after them to fill in their data.

The whole CMSML initiative is moving somewhat slowly as we try to see 
who might want to participate and what features all might agree on.

 From my work at DMOZ, I know that most vendors want to be categorized 
only if they think it will get them more customers.  As soon as they 
think the classification will pigeonhole them in an obscure corner they 
rebel and want to be in only the most general listing. There are nearly 
900 in 
http://dmoz.org/Computers/Software/Internet/Site_Management/Content_Management/

For example, we created a DMOZ subcategory for XML Content Managment, 
but the DMOZ policy of listing in just one place does not work for most 
vendors of XML-based CMS.

So at CMS Review are trying to develop a database that would allow a 
faceted classification scheme. A particular product can show up in many 
views of the data, as long as the vendor has indicated they have a 
certain feature/attribute.

I'd like to get major vendors to participate in the choice of the
