Hi,

We have disabled the pagecache on those pages which are depending on user/session specific stuff and make use of the content cache of the those components which could be static.

Another nice approach is to have all pages cached and static and create a sitenode witch a ajax-component which you request with ajax to get the dynamic data (and ofcourse let the ajax-page be no-cache), this alternative is probably best for the serverload.

You're right page cache was enabled.
But It's hard for me to understand the cache policy, it seems if was treating the jsp like static content...
There is a way to have page cache enabled and avoid such problems?

hi all, we experienced some strange behaviours in session management and the Principal object stored in the session, we are using IG 2.9.6
Let me explain a little bit more:We need to show the info of the loggedin user (extranet) in the main page. So we tought that we can use the information from the Principal object. The strange thing is that if you dump the sessionid from the session object of the jsp you will see that is seems to be shared between multiple client on multiple pc.
It seems also that the session object is not invalidated by the extranet logout, is that normal?
To retrieve the correct principal we wrote a little hack, we have decripted the username cookie and then used the management taglib to get the infos, but i don't think this is the right way.
