visible in workflow/sitemap, but not in site...

Hello.

I'm seeing some odd behavior on a Jahia instance (403).  Essentially, all
pages look fine in the workflow system and on the sitemap, however they are
now invisible when navigating through the site.

The standard procedures for restoring deleted pages do not work, because the
system doesn't seem to recognize that the pages were deleted.

Any ideas?  Is there still a way to restore this (other than rebuilding the
pages, obviously)?
